Grammar/ Past Tense & Present Perfect Tense
Nicole asked me if it is possible for me to have one
session as grammar lesson where she can observe the methods of teaching
grammar. I am not an expert about teaching grammar but I studied grammar for a
long time during my English journey.
I have chosen “Simple Past” and “Present Perfect” tenses
for this lesson that students having difficulty to use properly. We have started
our lesson by discussing some examples as well as the structure of these verb
tenses. We have gone through some worksheets and found out some guidelines that
can be helpful for teaching these tenses.

provided to tutee: Nicole found this lesson very helpful that
she has got some new ideas about teaching grammar.
Lesson(s)
about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I think if a native
English teacher learns a second language, this would be very helpful to make
empathy with students which is a very important point for teaching language.
