Topic/skill: Speaking, error correction
Feedback provided to tutee: As always, I corrected every error that my tutee made because she has such an advanced grasp of the English language. Also, with the error correction, even if she didn't know the right answer immediately, she was able to answer correctly after I gave her more time or a hint.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: It really helps that my tutee is incredibly self-motivated! She is very quick to understand things and very motivated to work on the areas that are most difficult for her. We are able to talk about a lot of cultural issues as well, which makes the session more interesting.
