Feedback provided to tutee: Since Young-Seo was leaving in a week, I decided to focus on her writing about what she would do when she returned home.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I learned that when giving a writing prompt to a young child, I should provide sample introductory sentences for her to use, such as, "I can't wait to..../ The person I am most excited to see is... because...". Initially, Young-Seo only wrote about one sentence so I encouraged her to write more by giving her more ideas and asking more questions about Korea.
