The "contractor saga" continues: Dojun decided to write his former contractor to let him know their working relationship was ending rather than call him. Tomorrow, he has a meeting with the gentleman and Dojun told me he feels rather nervous because he will have to go into more detail about why management has decided to end their contract. We talked a bit about how the conversation might go and I think he's ready to face the fire. He even has a company calendar to give this guy as a gift which we both think is hilarious. This poor guy is going to arrive tomorrow to learn that there is no way to rescue his contract and then will be sent away with a calendar that will remind him all year long that he no longer has a relationship with this company!
I told Dojun about my Thanksgiving celebrations, showed him see the Christmas tree my family decorated last week, and he told me a bit more about what to expect from the food scene in South Korea. Next week, I will find out how the contractor reacted. Stay tuned...
