Arzu and I talked about teaching in Turkey and she was very excited that I had decided to do the summer program. We also talked about the personal bubble of people in America; which Arzu assured me is not a thing in Turkey. She found that very weird when she moved to America. I told Arzu about the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas and suggested it for her daughter to watch. She is four years old though so it might be a bit too long for her. Arzu’s daughter is learning both Turkish and English so it might be a better movie for her in about 2/3 years. It is a feel good movie that I thought would be nice for her.
