Cultural and/or Linguistic Topics you and your partner learned: Today I gave Saad a tour of FSU's campus! I realized recently that most CIES students don't explore much beyond CIES (and it can be very confusing to navigate our campus). We started at the Union and visited Bellamy, Landis Green, the Center for Global Engagement, the FSU Food Garden, the stadium, the sports museum, the King (biology) building, and Legacy Way. I taught him a little about FSU's history and told him stories of my time at school. We also spent sometime in the garden identifying plants and picking kale. I think it was a great cultural experience and Saad learned a lot!
