9.00-9.50 am Ms. Candace Grammar Class (foundation Level)
Topic/Skill: Present Continuous Tense
Teacher Presentation: Ms. Candace wrote the agenda on the
whiteboard and began the lesson by reviewing present continuous tense. She then
gave worksheets to each student with different activities.
Classroom Management: Since there were only 6 students in
the class, the students got individual attention from the teacher. She was also
calling on students randomly when she asked a question.
Materials:
Whiteboard, worksheets
Student Participation: The students worked in
pairs for several activities. At the end of each activity, they took turns for giving
the answers. In these ways, they participated very well.
Feedback Provided: The teacher walked around the room and
gave feedback when the students are working on exercises. She was also giving
many positive feedback which was very encouraging.
Lesson(s) on
teaching you learned: The teacher didn’t correct each mistake (like pronunciation)
when the students were answering her questions which was very encouraging for
speaking up. I also learned that playing games is a very fun way for learning
English.
