Topic/Skill: Introduction, goals
Feedback provided to tutee: We talked about how to give
feedbacks to each other. I asked Nicole to note my mistakes (grammar,
vocabulary) while speaking and share them with me.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you
learned: Since it was a first session, we talked about ourselves and
learned about each other in terms of backgrounds, education, goals, and family.
Nicole is working for a company for four years where she
needs to spend six months of every year in the Ecuador. Since she thinks that
it is time to see new countries, she is attending the TEFL course and planning
to teach abroad.
We also talked about the chances to improve my English (especially vocabulary & writing)and we decided to go through about this points in future
sessions.
