Will CP #3

Date: 11/18 Location: TCC student Union Topic Discussed: World cultures Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner(s) learned: It was really interesting visiting TCC for their showcase of all the various countries that are represented at TCC. The first booth we visited was Burkina Faso of course since that's Fabrice's country. Then we went around and saw the booths from Chile and Cuba which was really awesome. We got little presentations from each country with a snack that represents the culinary tradition of the country. There were tons of countries I was kind of shocked at how diverse TCC was with international students. One of the best presentations was from the Saudi Arabia group. Their food was fantastic and the man speaking presented a lot of really interesting information on Saudi Arabia and its culture.
