Feedback provided to tutee: Jun missed our session yesterday and told me they were visiting his grandmother. He said they didn’t do much this weekend since his Dad is in Paris. His Dad comes home today and he is happy about that. I asked Jun if he has read any more stories in English School and he said no, but that they learned a song. He said it was the “10 Little Indians” song. I asked him to sing it, but he was too shy, so I found it on YouTube and played it and sang it with him. Then I told him I had a story for him. I sent him a link to the “Golidlocks and the Three Bears” story. I told him I would read it to him and he could follow along. I did the Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear voices! :-) Jun said it was the dumbest story he ever heard. I asked why and he said that Goldilocks didn’t even say she was sorry, but that she just ran away. I told him that was actually the point of the story - that you shouldn’t break into someone’s home and use their things and take their things. Jun told me he wanted to teach me some Korean and he taught me the numbers 1 - 10. He said he would test me next week and that I should practice with Nicole because he gave here the same homework. :-)
