Feedback provided to tutee: Boram prepared her example essay but there were many mistakes in organization. Boram learned to be very direct in her sentences.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Boram did not know how to write an outline, so we went over outline writing. I really learned to try and go over organization over the small mistakes. Her example essay had her topic sentence at the end, which she explained is typical of Korean writings.
After our lesson I sent her an example lesson outline and went over the topic sentences.
